The Floor is a pseudonymous discussion layer attached to stories on the tape. ADVSR hosts; participants speak. Moderation is binary: a post is removed or it stands. Posts are never edited by anyone, including us.

Removed on report or detection

Doxxing, or attempts to unmask any participant or advisor.
Claims of specific illegal or unethical conduct by a named individual without a linked public source such as a regulatory action, court filing, or published report.
Harassment.
Confidential information: client data, unannounced moves, internal documents.
Spam.
Impersonation.

Everything else stands

Including harsh opinions about firms, compensation, and leadership. Reports go to a moderation queue with a 24 hour service level. Repeat offenders lose their keys.

These are terms, not intentions. There are no accounts, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into. Your identity here is a cryptographic key that lives in your browser, and we hold nothing that connects that key to a person: no name, no email address, no phone number. Posts and reactions are stored without IP address, device, or browser information.

We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer anything you do here to anyone, including to Winthrop & Co. Activity on ADVSR is never used for recruiting, prospecting, or any commercial purpose beyond running the site. If any of this ever changes, the change appears on this page before it takes effect, and it will never apply to anything you did before it.

This is a stricter rule than disclosure would require, and it is deliberate. A recruiter in the room changes what advisors say, no matter how clearly the recruiter is labelled. The value of this place is advisors talking to each other, so the owner stays out of it. If that ever changes, it changes on this page first, and any participation would carry a visible affiliation.
